Terms of service
Last updated 29 October 2026.
1. Who we are
AdminSmith is provided by Zhivko Komarov, Vera Ciriviri 45, 2400 Strumica, North Macedonia ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@adminsmith.com.
These terms apply when you create an account or use any of our tools. By creating an account you agree to them for yourself or, if you sign up for a business, on behalf of that business. You must be at least 18, and allowed to act for the business if you register one.
2. The service
AdminSmith offers online tools for businesses, freelancers and private users: a website accessibility checker, payment reminders, e-invoices, a subscription tracker and an AI receptionist. What each tool and plan includes is described on its page and in our guides. We improve the tools over time and may change or remove features; if a change takes away something important you pay for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.
The tools are not legal, tax or accounting advice. They help you, but you remain responsible for your website, your invoices, your messages and your compliance with the laws that apply to you. In particular:
- The accessibility checker runs automated tests, which find many but not all accessibility problems. A good result does not prove that a website meets the law. Check the accessibility statement it writes before you publish it.
- E-invoices are built from the data you enter and checked against the main EN 16931 rules. You remain responsible for their content and tax treatment, and for sending and keeping them as your tax rules require.
- Payment reminders are sent from your own email account, in your name, to the people and amounts you enter. Make sure each debt is real and that the wording, and any fees or interest you mention, are lawful.
- The subscription tracker reads the bank statements you upload and can miss or misread a payment. Check with your bank or the provider before you rely on a date or an amount.
- The AI receptionist answers with your own AI provider, based on the information you give it, and tells people it is an AI. AI answers can be wrong: you are responsible for that information and for following up on what it tells your customers.
3. Your account
- Give correct information and keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us straight away at support@adminsmith.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- You can delete your account at any time under Settings. This deletes your data as described in our privacy policy.
4. Free trial
New accounts get a 7-day free trial of every tool, with the trial limits shown on each tool’s page. No card is needed. When the trial ends, a tool stops doing new work until you choose a plan for it; your data stays in your account so you can continue later or delete it.
5. Plans, payment and cancellation
Each tool has its own monthly plans, and you can also take all tools together in one plan. You can buy a plan during the free trial or after it. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s terms apply to your purchase, and Paddle charges VAT or sales tax where required and sends you the invoice.
Plans renew every month until you cancel. When you switch between plans, Paddle changes your subscription and charges or credits the difference straight away. You can cancel any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If you delete your account, your paid plans are cancelled straight away. When you can get money back is explained in our refund policy; apart from that and what the law gives you, payments are not refunded for partial months. Usage limits apply per calendar month (UTC) and unused allowance does not carry over.
We may change prices for future periods. We will email you at least 30 days before a price change applies to your plan, and you can cancel before it does.
6. Your own connected accounts
Some tools work through accounts you open and connect yourself: your email account (SMTP), your AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or a compatible service), Twilio and WhatsApp Business (Meta). You are the customer of those providers, you pay them directly and their terms apply to you.
Our plans pay for our software: the tools and their features, hosting, security, updates and support. We do not sell or resell AI use, text messages, WhatsApp messages or email sending, and our prices do not include what those providers charge you. You are responsible for those charges and for setting spending limits with the providers.
- You create and manage these accounts, keep their keys and passwords secret, and replace a key straight away if you think someone else has it.
- You follow the providers’ own rules, for example on acceptable use, message content and registering as a sender.
- If a provider limits, suspends or charges your account, or changes its service, the tools that use that account may stop working until you sort it out with the provider. We are not responsible for those providers’ services, charges, outages or decisions, such as a provider blocking a message.
- You authorise us to use these accounts on your behalf only to run the tools as you set them up. We store their details encrypted. When you remove a connection under Connections, we stop using it and delete the stored details.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use AdminSmith to:
- check websites you are not allowed to test, or put excessive load on any website;
- send spam, unlawful debt-collection messages, or messages to people who have not dealt with your business;
- mislead people, for example by hiding that the AI receptionist is an AI, or by using it for decisions about people that the law restricts;
- upload data you have no right to process, or break the law, including data protection, consumer, telecom and tax laws;
- attack, probe or reverse engineer the service, get around limits or access other customers’ data.
We may suspend a tool or an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other people at risk. Where reasonable we will warn you first.
8. Your data
Your data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. When we process personal data for you (for example your customers’ names on invoices or messages to your AI receptionist), we act as your processor under our data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms. How we handle our own customers’ data is explained in our privacy policy.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep AdminSmith available and secure but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, ideally outside business hours in Europe. Support is by email at support@adminsmith.com.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or wilful misconduct.
Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, revenue or data that you could have backed up, or for fines and claims caused by how you use the tools. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in those 12 months.
If you are a consumer, you also have the rights your local consumer law gives you, which these terms do not take away. Our refund policy and Paddle’s buyer terms explain how to cancel a purchase and get a refund, including the 14-day right of withdrawal in the EU and UK where it applies.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using AdminSmith and delete your account at any time. We may end these terms with 30 days’ notice by email, or immediately if you seriously break them. When the agreement ends we delete your data as described in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms. For important changes we will email you at least 30 days in advance; continuing to use AdminSmith after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia, and its courts have jurisdiction, without taking away any mandatory protection that the law of your country gives you.
